Obituary for Sharon Naomi Aono Taggart

TAGGART, SHARON NAOMI AONO (77) passed away peacefully on March 15, 2018 in Santa Rosa with her daughter by her side and in the comfort of her own home. Sharon grew up in the Los Angeles area and fell in love with the arts and music. She was also the director of the arts program at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA where she resided for many years before moving to Santa Rosa, CA to live with her daughter. She is survived by her daughter, Marisela (Kraig) Singleton; grandchildren, Julian Gonzalez, William, Kristina, Kamille, Katalina, and Karmynn Singleton; aunts and uncle, Mae Kakehashi, Mary Nomura, Bill (Yetsko) Fukawa; and other relatives. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., LA with Rev. Mark M. Nakagawa officiating.
